2020 Holiday Party Drive Thru
2020 has had it's challenges, we are not able to get together like before. It has allowed us to re-think how we were going to Bless our children of incarcerated parents. After sending letters to many facilities and government agencies to host an outdoor party drive thru no one responded until The YES Program offered their staff and the Central Islip Recreation Center to host an outdoor drive-thru party. This year has been extremely hard to get funding and toy donations and we felt we were not able able to give the kids more than one gift. Thanks to the circle of influence C.H.E.L.A. 4 Kids has, we had an ABUNDANCE of toys | gifts | clothes to give to our population. These last few months challenged my FAITH and I never gave up. Thank you for believing in C.H.E.L.A. 4 Kids and standing in the gap, showing up when others were not able and for being a Blessing to these kids!
